What we collect
Your wallet address, the Robotos it and any delegating vaults hold (public blockchain data), the projects, votes, comments, suggestions and reports you create, your X account id and handle if you choose to connect one, and standard server logs such as IP address and browser type.
Cookies
We use a single sign in cookie so you stay signed in. No advertising or tracking cookies. If you dismiss an announcement, your browser remembers that on your device only.
How we use it
To run the site: sign you in, check that you hold a Roboto, count votes, moderate content and keep the service secure. We do not sell your data.
What is public
Projects, their builder's wallet address and avatar Roboto, vote totals, and public comments with their author's wallet address and avatar Roboto are public. Points, rank and badges are public on the leaderboard and next to a builder's name. Individual votes are not shown publicly. Private suggestions are visible only to you and the builder you sent them to, and to moderators only if someone reports them.
X account
Connecting an X account is optional. Once you connect one, your X handle is public next to your name on your projects and comments. We only read your X account id and handle, once, when you connect. We never post, never keep access to your X account and never store X passwords or access tokens. You can disconnect it anytime from My Robotos, which removes the handle and id from beepboop.world.
Legal basis
We use your data to run the service you ask for when you sign in, submit, vote, comment or report, and because we have a legitimate interest in keeping the site secure and moderating it.
Analytics
We do not use analytics, advertising or tracking tools.
Service providers
We rely on a few providers to run the site. WalletConnect (Reown) connects mobile wallets. Alchemy reads public blockchain data to check which Robotos a wallet holds. Amazon Web Services S3 and CloudFront store and serve uploaded images. Vercel hosts this website. Railway hosts our API. MongoDB Atlas stores our database. They process data only to provide their service to us.
Retention
Sign in nonces expire within minutes. Server logs are kept for 30 days. Account data, projects, votes, comments, suggestions and reports are kept until you ask us to delete them. When you delete a comment its text is erased. Moderation audit records are kept to keep the site safe, even after an account is deleted.

beepboop.world is run by Shoutpoint Labs, which is responsible for your data. You can reach us at the address below.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, delete or export your data, and you can object to how we use it, by emailing the address below. You can also complain to your local data protection supervisory authority. Blockchain data is public and outside our control.
